Year 11 Revision

Year 11 students at the Beacon of Light commence a tailored revision provision programme at the start of the summer term.

They are all offered one-to-one tutoring in Maths and English, working on areas identified from mock exams and teacher assessments.

They are also given revision guides in all core subjects to work on at home, electronically sending their work in for marking and guidelines where required. At half term, set days are held in school where students can attend to undertake targeted work.

During the exam season, students are timetabled to attend school focusing on subjects that they will be examined on during that particular week.
