Students Say Thank You on National Thank a Teacher Day

Students at Beacon of Light School marked National Thank a Teacher Day by showing their appreciation for the staff who support them every day.

As part of the celebration, students wrote thoughtful thank you cards for teachers and support staff, sharing messages of gratitude and recognising the positive difference staff make to their school experience. The cards were presented alongside a bar of chocolate as a small token of appreciation.

The activity gave students an opportunity to reflect on the support, encouragement and care they receive throughout the year and to personally thank the staff who help them learn, grow and achieve their goals.

The gesture was warmly received by staff and helped create a real sense of celebration across the school.

National Thank a Teacher Day is an opportunity to recognise the dedication of everyone working in education and the important role they play in the lives of children and young people.
